Honduras end 13 years without a win over Jamaica, 1-0 in Kingston

Honduras beat Jamaica 1 to 0 at the National Stadium in Kingston on September 28, ending a 13-year run without a win over the Reggae Boyz and denting Jamaica's Concacaf Nations League campaign in League A, Group B. Keyrol Figueroa scored in the 14th minute (Concacaf).

Honduras did it the hard way. They played the final stretch a man down after Denil Moncada was sent off in the 68th minute, and still held the lead to the whistle against a Jamaica side that could not break through at home.

The result reshapes the group. Suriname now top Group B on 6 points, while Jamaica sit fourth on 3. For a Jamaica team carrying regional expectation, a home loss to a side it had not lost to in over a decade is the kind of result that turns a campaign into a question.
